Workflow Solutions
Dako delivers world class diagnostic solutions for fast and accurate answers for cancer patients and doctors making vital decisions for treatment. We do this by linking know-how, reagents, instruments and software for improving the entire workflow of the pathology laboratories.
Proven antibodies and reagents, instruments and software mean that Dako’s workflow solutions deliver an unprecedented level of connectivity for pathology laboratories. The result: diagnosis sharing without delay.
Each tissue sample received from a patient is assigned a positive ID, kept throughout the entire laboratory process. The system verifies the ID at every stage and virtually eliminates the errors caused by redundant data-entry.
Innovative linking-software known as Dako Link manages the entire laboratory workflow. Just one PC can now be used to monitor any number of instruments and run up to three instruments at a time.
A Local Area Network (LAN) connects all hospital units to all instruments in the lab. And connecting DakoLink to the laboratory mainframe takes data connectivity even further. A connected lab can link to the hospital Laboratory Information System (LIS), and even an external LIS, so that data at another hospital, across the city or on the other side of the globe, can be accessed. Remote troubleshooting is now a reality.
Dako’s workflow solutions are the result of our 40 years' experience ensuring quality and innovation in antibodies and reagents: the genesis of the pathology lab of tomorrow.

Pharmacodiagnostics (pharmDx™)
Another one of Dako’s areas of expertise is pharmacoDiagnostics™ (pharmDx™). Dako produces diagnostics kits for determining cancer types and associated treatments. Dako develops and produces diagnostic kits in close corporation with the pharmaceutical industry.
Antibodies and Reagents
Dako began as an antibody company. This legacy is the foundation on which Dako bases its antibody production and development. The latest additions include a range of RTU (Ready-to-Use) antibodies optimized for a single – and yet flexible – protocol using Dako’s EnVision™ FLEX or FLEX+ Visualization System.
